Pro feature. Real credit usage tracking and expiring credit alerts are included with Cardzen Pro. Free users can browse the My Credits page and see every credit with its full value, but the dashboard renders in a masked view (every credit shows its full amount as remaining, and the "View stats" button is replaced with a Cardzen Pro prompt). Expiring credit surfaces (the "expiring soon" alert, the Expiring filter chip, the clock/expiring badges on each credit row, and the Expiring Credits section in the detailed report) are hidden entirely for free users.
Credits Summary
At the top of the page, you'll see your credits summary:
- Remaining value - The total dollar amount remaining across all your active credits (e.g., "$275 remaining across 9 active credits")
- View stats - A button that opens the detailed credits report (see below)
- Usage bar - A visual bar showing how many credits are Used, Partially Used, and Unused, with colored legend dots and counts for each status
- Expiring alert (Pro, when applicable) - A warning showing how many credits are expiring soon and their total value. Hidden for free users.
- Streak badges (Pro) - A flame badge appears next to any credit you've used enough periods in a row for its cadence: 4+ months for monthly credits, 3+ quarters for quarterly credits, 3+ half-years for semiannual credits, or 2+ years for annual credits (e.g., "3 quarter streak"). The flame and the expiring clock can appear side-by-side on the same row. See the Credit Streaks article for the full mechanics.
Credit List
By default, credits are displayed as a flat prioritized list. Filter chips at the top of the list let you reorganize credits in different ways.
Filter Chips
Filter chips appear above the credit list:
- By Card - Groups all credits under their card name (e.g., "AMEX PLATINUM", "CHASE SAPPHIRE RESERVE"). Within each group, credits maintain their priority order.
- By Category - Groups all credits under their benefit category (e.g., "DINING", "TRAVEL", "STREAMING"). Within each group, credits maintain their priority order.
- By Period - Groups all credits under their frequency (e.g., "MONTHLY", "QUARTERLY", "ANNUALLY"). Within each group, credits maintain their priority order.
- Expiring (Pro) - Filters to show only expiring credits, sorted by soonest deadline. This chip is hidden for free users and also hidden when there are no expiring credits.
Tapping an active chip deselects it and returns to the default flat prioritized list. A clear button also appears when a filter is active. The "Show/Hide redeemed credits" toggle works with all filter modes.
Credit Statuses

Credits Report (View Stats)
The View stats button in the credits summary opens a detailed breakdown of your current credit usage. The report includes:
- Utilization chart - A circular chart showing your overall active credits utilization percentage, with total value, used, and remaining amounts
- By Period - Rows for each period type (Monthly, Quarterly, Semiannual, Annual) showing a usage bar and dollar values. Periods with no credits are hidden.
- Credit Count - A segmented bar showing how many credits are Redeemed, Partially Used, and Unused, with a total count
- Expiring Credits (Pro, when applicable) - A highlighted section showing expiring credits broken down by value and by count across each period type, with color-coded bars and legends. The entire detailed report (including this section) is Pro-only.
Quick Actions
From the dashboard, you can:
- Update status - Click on any credit to mark it as redeemed, partially used, or reset
- View history - See past usage patterns
- Filter credits - Use the By Card, By Category, By Period, or Expiring (Pro) chips to reorganize the list
- Toggle redeemed credits - Show or hide credits you've already used
- View stats - Click "View stats" in the credits summary to see your detailed credits report
Pro tip: Check your credits at the beginning of each month to see what's available, and again near the end to make sure you've used everything.
Expiration Warnings (Pro)
Expiration warnings are a Pro feature and are hidden entirely for free users (no clock icons, no "expiring soon" row, no Expiring filter chip, no alerts from the AI). On Pro, the dashboard highlights credits that are expiring soon. Warning thresholds vary by frequency to give you appropriate time to act:

The Daily Zen (also Pro) surfaces expiring credits when you start a new chat, so you never miss an opportunity.
