Card Information Tabs
Each card detail page has four tabs in a tab bar at the bottom of the panel: Overview, Multipliers, Credits, and Perks. Overview is the default tab when you open a card. The Overview tab is shown as a home icon (no text label) at every screen size, while Multipliers, Credits, and Perks always show their full labels.
Overview Tab
Shows the card showcase (issuer, name, applicable current-state badges, rewards currency, network), an optional description, and a stats grid with rewards currency, annual fee, foreign transaction fee, and lifecycle date. An active card shows its current period's date as Opened. A Past card shows its latest closed date as Closed.
Past cards keep this complete detail surface, including Multipliers, Credits, and Perks. Cardzen no longer uses them for current recommendations, reminders, or available-credit tracking, but their saved component-tracking preferences remain editable.
Multipliers Tab
Shows earning rates by spending category:
- Category - The type of purchase (dining, travel, groceries, etc.)
- Rate - Points/cashback per dollar (e.g., 3x, 2%, 5 points)
- Notes - Any special conditions or caps
Examples:
| Category | Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Dining | 4x points | Worldwide dining |
| Travel | 3x points | Booked directly or through portal |
| Other Purchases | 1x points | Base earn rate |
Selectable Reward Options
Some multipliers depend on a category, rewards option, tier, or status associated with your card. Expand the multiplier to view its selector. Depending on the card, its label may say Your Category, Your Rewards Option, Current Category, Current Rewards Status, or use issuer-specific wording.
- An option can have its own earning rate and spending cap. When those values differ, the selector shows them with the option, such as
5% · Travel · up to $1,500/quarter. - Selecting an option updates the rate Cardzen uses for card details, Wallet Guide, Daily Zen, and AI recommendations.
- A current category or status selector records what already applies at your card issuer. Changing it in Cardzen does not change your issuer account.
- Some cards have a safe issuer default that Cardzen can use until you record a different option. Other cards remain Not selected until you choose or record the applicable option.
- If your previous selection is no longer available, select a new option when Cardzen asks you to repair it.
To update a selection later, open My Cards, select the card, open Multipliers, expand the multiplier, and use its selector.
Credits Tab
Shows redeemable benefits from your card:
- Credit Name - What the credit is for (dining, streaming, etc.)
- Value - Dollar amount ($10, $15, $200, etc.)
- Frequency - How often it resets (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Status: Redeemed, partially used, not used, or not tracked
Examples:
| Credit | Value | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Dining Credit | $10 | Monthly |
| Uber Credit | $15 | Monthly |
| Travel Credit | $300 | Annual |
Perks Tab
Shows non-credit benefits:
- Lounge Access - Priority Pass, Centurion, etc.
- Insurance - Trip delay, rental car, purchase protection
- Status - Hotel/airline elite status
- Other Benefits: Global Entry credit, TSA PreCheck, and similar perks. Credits that don't follow a yearly cycle live here rather than on the Credits tab. That includes multi-year credits (for example a Global Entry fee that renews every 4 years) and one-time credits (for example a complimentary 6-month Instacart+ membership).
